Bio
"For only to a magician is the world forever fluid, infintely mutable and
eternally new. Only he knows the secret of change, only he knows truly that
all things are crouched in eagerness to become something else, and it is
from this universal tension that he draws his power."

Peter Beagle, The Last Unicorn, page 138

I guess I am trying to figure out just who and what I am right now. I know I love people though, and everything I do centers around that, iuncluding the fact I am studying Anthropology at Simon Fraser University.
I think life is too short to not sing, meet people, and travel at any given chance.
I have friends I couldn't live without. I am still looking for the man I choose to settle down with, but that is ok with me for now. I am not too often angsty, but life gets to me as much as anyone else.
I believe in karma, and I follow the golden rule. I would walk through fire before letting any of my friends hurt.
I do NOT like people who are constantly negative, unfriendly, make caustic comments about what others look like just for fun, and who enjoy being assholes. Not to mention drama. If I say something that offends you, ask for clarification, use your words like an adult. Chances are it is a misunderstanding, don't assume anything. If you are any of the above, you'd better either hide it from me, or take off. I have enough stress in my life without adding poisonous people to it.
One day I'll be a famous Anthropologist/teacher/Motivational speaker/Political figure/Lawyer.
Just watch me!

UPDATE:
07-12 2008: Last semester of University, YEEHAW!

04-107 2008: I traveled around Asia to countries including Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and China.

01-04 2008: I have a position at the Pacific Federal Council now! I'll be event planning for a huge National Managers conference in April, managing various tours being offered to the members, as well as being partially in charge of volunteers. This is going to be my biggest challenge yet, and I am excited!

09-12 2007: Working at Powertech Labs on communications regarding their Alternative Energy and Rural Electrification projects. This will be my last co-op semester, and I am really enjoying it.

09-12 2006: I was a part of a program called a Semester in Dialogue through SFU. Our class was 5 days a week, 8 hours a day, focusing on First Nations traditional beliefs and contemporary issues. It's an experiance of a lifetime, and something I'll never forget.

01-04 2006: I am now back from working for the First Nations Program all the way out in freezing Ottawa! I was there from January till the end of April. Check my past entires to see how often this city tried to kill me. ;)

2004: My life-changing journey is over! From January 14th to August 11th, 2004, I was a participant in a cross-country youth project called Katimavik (www.katimavik.org). Go back to those dates on my journal to see all of my experiances!

And when the show is over,
And they lay me down,
I want to be remembered for the love I spread around...
